Coconut Fiber

As a long-standing partner to the food industry, we are constantly expanding our product range to include functional ingredients that meet the technological requirements of modern recipes. With coconut fiber, we are adding a coarsely and finely ground fiber to our portfolio that is particularly effective in applications where structure, water-holding capacity, and natural texture are required. These grades are produced from dried white coconut meat and are available as a white to cream-colored, free-flowing powder with a typical aromatic coconut scent and a mild coconut flavor. Thanks to its high content of insoluble dietary fiber and its natural purity, coconut fiber is recommended as a versatile, labeling-friendly functional ingredient for modern clean-label concepts.

Coconut fiber is particularly well-suited in the food industry for applications where improved water-binding capacity, reduced oil absorption, or a natural texture are desired. Whether in baked goods, snacks, frozen products, plant-based meat alternatives, breadings, or doughs—it supports structure formation, increases juiciness, improves stability, and simultaneously contributes to a valuable dietary fiber content. The technological functionality of both grades allows for flexible incorporation into a wide variety of recipe concepts without additives or processing aids.

Coconut Fiber HMW 500 (Item No.: 42250) is a finely ground variety with a maximum particle size of 500 µm and is particularly suitable for homogeneous doughs, baking mixes, breading, and applications where a smooth texture is a priority. The product is supplied as a free-flowing powder in a 25-kg PP woven bag with an HDPE inner liner and has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production when stored in a cool, dry place.

HMW 1000 coconut fiber (Item No.: 42251), on the other hand, with its maximum particle size of 1000 µm, offers a significantly coarser texture and is ideal for products where visible fiber content and a naturally rustic character are desired, e.g., in savory baked goods, textured snacks, or plant-based alternative products. It is supplied in a 14-kg PP woven bag with an HDPE inner liner and also has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
